About the Carlos Campos Men’s look: Brow messing skills does not a rebel make. The rebel may eschew restraints and conventions, but filling the urban space with the pure essence of worldliness begs for much more than that. As much as the rebel resists, makeup and hair is required. Enter the Rebel Reinterpreted. “The Carlos Campos man this season is a world traveler, refined and redefined. The process of drawing that nonchalant look on the models‟ faces requires artistry. With fine brushes, the artist spots makeup to cast off imperfections, and wields corrective makeup to achieve a flawless human canvas. He uses almost no powder to set that „spot makeup.‟ The skin has to be treated to convey nothing but a healthy glow. Brows are lightly disheveled with a setting liquid to parlay that morning messy look; Lashes are tinted, showcasing piercing eyes. The lips, wine stained ever so lightly, stand out from the rest of the bare skin.
